Child Protection Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is Tilitet's highest priority. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting children from harm.

Our Principles

Every child has the right to be protected from abuse and neglect, regardless of background. All staff share responsibility for child protection.

  • Rigorous staff recruitment, including background checks
  • Mandatory safeguarding training for all staff
  • Clear procedures for reporting and responding to concerns
  • Secure pick-up and drop-off procedures at all times

Reporting Concerns

Any staff member, parent, or visitor with a child protection concern should report it immediately to our Head of Student Welfare or Head Teacher.
