This Safeguarding Policy works alongside our Child Protection Policy to ensure a consistently safe environment for every child, staff member, and visitor at Tilitet.
Scope
This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, contractors, and visitors who interact with children on our premises or during school activities.
Safe Recruitment
All staff undergo thorough vetting, including reference checks and background screening, before working with children.
Training & Awareness
Staff receive regular safeguarding training to recognise and respond appropriately to signs of harm or distress.
Premises Safety
Our compound is gated, CCTV-monitored, and access-controlled, with regular safety and fire drills conducted throughout the year.
